Public markets
Your order is visible to the whole market. Size moves the price against you before you finish filling, and every trade leaves a public footprint.
Where size settles.
Trade large blocks privately and settle atomically, directly between institutional counterparties. No public order book. No custody. No intermediary.
Midpoint execution and RFQ, settled on Canton Network.
The Problem
Institutions moving size have had two options, and both come with a cost.
Public markets
Your order is visible to the whole market. Size moves the price against you before you finish filling, and every trade leaves a public footprint.
Traditional OTC
A dealer sits between you and your counterparty. Assets pass through hands you do not control, and settlement is a promise rather than a guarantee.
Clavius gives institutions a third option.
Private discovery. Direct counterparties. Atomic settlement.
The Venue
Your trading intent is shared only with the counterparties and liquidity tiers you choose. No public order book. No information leakage.
You trade directly with your counterparty, from accounts you control. Clavius never takes custody of your assets.
Asset, payment and fees settle together in one indivisible transaction. Either everything settles, or nothing does.
The Measure
Clavius combines the privacy of OTC with the settlement guarantees of onchain markets.
Generalised across typical workflows; specific desks and venues vary.
Execution
Execute at the midpoint of an independent reference price, or request firm quotes from the liquidity providers you select. Both routes are private, and both end in the same atomic settlement.
Settlement
Every trade takes the same path: discover, execute, settle. One atomic transaction on Canton, directly between accounts the parties themselves own.
01
Choose your counterparties by liquidity tier and share your intent with them alone. Nothing is shown to the wider market.
No information leakage: your order never touches a public book.
02
Trade directly with the counterparty that fills you, at the midpoint or at the quote you accepted.
No intermediary: Clavius never sits in the middle of your trade.
03
One atomic transaction on Canton moves the asset, the payment and the fees together.
No settlement risk: all legs move, or none do.
Base, quote and fee move in one indivisible step, with no half-settled state. Settlement is built to the CIP-56 standard for Canton-native assets: finality on chain, custody untouched.
The asset leaves the seller's own allocation.
Payment, net of fee, leaves the buyer's.
Settles in the same indivisible step. All three legs, or none.
Mandates
Rotate
Rotate large positions without exposing your order to a public market.
Fill
Execute large client orders against institutional liquidity without taking on custody or settlement risk.
Quote
Provide liquidity to institutional counterparties without holding client assets.
Allocate
Execute block trades privately, with deterministic settlement and a complete audit trail.
Four mandates, one venue, every trade settled atomically on Canton.
The Network
Clavius turns Canton into institutional trading infrastructure. Canton Network is the privacy-enabled public chain built for regulated financial institutions, and it is what makes this market structure possible.
Transactions are visible only to their participants. Your trades exist onchain, seen by you and your counterparty alone.
Every participant completes KYB and sanctions screening before any workflow opens; availability varies by jurisdiction.
All legs of a trade move in one indivisible step, with finality on chain. Built to the CIP-56 standard for Canton-native assets.
Midpoint execution strikes against cryptographically signed Chainlink Data Streams, so the reference price is provable, not quoted.
The Model
Clavius does not take the other side of your trade, hold your assets or move funds on your behalf.
You trade directly with your counterparty. Clavius provides the discovery, execution and settlement infrastructure.
Direct bilateral trade. Atomic onchain settlement.
Questions
Neither. There is no public order book, and Clavius never holds participant funds. Trades settle atomically, participant to participant, between allocations the parties themselves own, with Canton-native finality. Nothing passes through Clavius.
Only the counterparties you choose. You define structured intent across liquidity tiers before any order exists, and your order is routed only to the tiers you select. Nothing reaches the wider market.
Two ways. Midpoint execution strikes at the mid of an independent reference price, executed against signed Chainlink Data Streams. An RFQ returns live, firm quotes from the liquidity tiers you select, held open for a defined window; you accept the best quote and it binds.

Clavius is built for institutional counterparties: funds, market makers and treasuries whose orders are too large for lit venues. Every participant completes KYB and sanctions screening before any workflow opens, and availability varies by jurisdiction.
Canton-native assets and stablecoins across supported pairs: rotating treasury positions, filling OTC client orders, and moving cash and tokenised assets between verified institutional counterparties.
Mainnet beta access is open: register directly at app.clavius.io, complete KYB, and connect your wallet. Founding terms, locked in for early members, are shared on request; write to contact@clavius.io. Beta members get direct access to the founders and the protocol engineering team, and shape midpoint and RFQ semantics and discovery routing before public launch. A testnet sandbox remains available at app-testnet.clavius.io.
